Parts of this book are good. Other parts, not so much. The VR stuff that is interspersed throughout as the way folks surf the net in this somewhere down the line time horizon isn't a strong point of the story at all, and neither is all the net slang used in the dialog. Actually, it's kind of a strange situation where the action part of this action book is actually somewhat weaker than the chartacter development.
I don't know if that means I'll read another Net Force book, though.
I'm a huge Clancy/Perry/Net Force fan and enjoyed all the books in the series.
The Clancy charm and stile is gone. Not even remotely. An adult read. Sad end to enjoyable adult

It Was A Little Boring But I Liked It But I Like The Op Center Series Better And The Jack Ryan Books Better Yet
I got hooked on the Netforce series because of the balance between the real world and the virtual world. There was just enough of both to keep it interesting. I was very disappointed with Gameprey. So much so that i quit reading after 2 chapters. I even skipped over to chapter 10 then 15, but found the same sci-fi fantasy. Probably a good read for sci- fi fans, but not for those expecting the same Netforce style of the previous books.
I had to stop reading. Felt like 80% of every page was describing clothes and gagetts. Worst Chancy ever. Tom must be rolling over in his grave.
The dragon soars above the trees. The sun reflects of the multitude of scales covering the huge beasts back. It's great wings stretch as they beat against the air propelling the creature forward.....
This Tom Clancy created book is an easy read and is entertaining.
This series of books is aimed at the younger reader and takes you into the lives of a group of kids that are part of the "Net Force Explorers". The Explorers are a program created by Net Force, the agency charged with fighting crime on the internet.
Follow the groups latest adventure as they try to figure out what's going on with one of the hottest games on the internet.
This is an action packed story that kept me hooked until I was finished. Buy this book today, you won't be disappointed.
